David began his passion for photography at the age of 21, at first using an Olympus OM10 film camera borrowed from his grandfather.  Having spent his formative years photographing gigs, clubs, landscapes and portraits of his friends, David quit his job in financial services and began studying at Leeds Arts University and achieved a HND in photography in 2007.  He founded his photography business immediately after his studies and as well as picking up his own commissions, he assisted some of his most admired photographers, including Doug Currie, Kate Abbey, Guy Farrow, Chris Leah and Carl Hodgson, working with them on a variety of personal and commercial shoots.

David currently works for a wide range of clients in a variety of industries, producing images for websites, brochures and social media, with his work taking him around the UK and sometimes the world, including commissions in Iceland, France, the Philippines and Australia.

In 2020 David qualified as a drone pilot and has loved the new perspective and variety of imagery this tool can produce.

In his free time David loves walking with his dog Serge, watching films, reading books, video gaming with his nephews and growing vegetables at his allotment.
